Raghu Hassan had the idea for Naanu Matthu Gunda 2 at the first part’s climax

In 2020, Raghu Hassan released the comedy movie Naanu Matthu Gunda in Kannada. A notable Labrador was included in the film as a depiction of a lovely canine-human interaction. The decision to develop a sequel was made by the production crew and director-producer Raghu Hassan during the filming of the movie’s climactic scene.

Raghu said in one of the interviews that the relationship between Hero Shivraj KR Pee and Goon was shown in the film’s first section, and that the filmmakers had the idea to construct a second section while filming the film’s final act. A sequel was thus planned if Part 1 performed well at the box office, and the plan was carried out when the film was highly received by the public and performed admirably at the ticket booths.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-59670″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-raghu-hassan-had-the-idea-for-naanu-matthu-gunda-2-at-the-first-parts-climax-73514179-11zon-750×488.png” alt=”” width=”1480″ height=”963″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-raghu-hassan-had-the-idea-for-naanu-matthu-gunda-2-at-the-first-parts-climax-73514179-11zon-750×488.png 750w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-raghu-hassan-had-the-idea-for-naanu-matthu-gunda-2-at-the-first-parts-climax-73514179-11zon-768×499.png 768w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-raghu-hassan-had-the-idea-for-naanu-matthu-gunda-2-at-the-first-parts-climax-73514179-11zon-150×98.png 150w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/www.theindiaprint.com-raghu-hassan-had-the-idea-for-naanu-matthu-gunda-2-at-the-first-parts-climax-73514179-11zon.png 1000w” sizes=”(max-width: 1480px) 100vw, 1480px” />

Raghu started writing the second section of the narrative, and it took him almost a year to finish it. The movie’s filming began once the screenplay and other relevant tasks were completed. According to him, portions of the movie was filmed at Shioga and Thirthahalli, and some sequences would be filmed in Ooty on July 15 as preparations are ongoing.

He said that since dogs don’t always listen, filming a dog movie is difficult in and of itself. It takes at least five or six takes to get one shot just right, and it is made more challenging by the fact that the filmmakers are using the same dog throughout the whole film, who was also present in the previous installment, according to Raghu. He pointed out that, in contrast to male types, female dog breeds still obey your directions, yet Simba the malamute was still used by the producers.

Raghu is really thrilled about the follow-up because he thinks that with this movie, a new genre of cinema is being created, and the details will be unveiled gradually. In the next days, further details about the film will be released. Ruthvik Muralidhar is providing the film’s background score, while RP Patnaik is the music director.
