Over 200 Italian hydraulic home lifts operational
Innovative minimum-pit technology makes elevators possible even in decades-old buildings
Hyderabad, July 9th, 2026: For thousands of families living in older homes, installing an elevator has long been considered impossible because of structural limitations and the need for deep pits and machine rooms. Hyderabad-based Cube Elevators is changing that by introducing premium Italian hydraulic lift technology from Hydronic Lift S.p.A., Italy, enabling elevators to be installed in existing homes, villas, hospitals and old buildings with minimal civil modifications.
Cube Elevators have given this mission a name _ Lift the Un-lifted _ taking elevators to the homes and buildings that were never built for one. The company is bringing world-class hydraulic lift technology to Indian households through a minimum-pit design that requires only a shallow pit and a compact machine cabinet. Every installation is fully compliant with IS 17900, India’s national lift safety standard.
Cube Elevators has already installed more than 200 hydraulic home lifts across Hyderabad and surrounding regions, with over 100 additional installations currently underway. The company manufactures elevator cabins, doors and structural components at its facility in IDA Balanagar, Hyderabad, while the hydraulic drive systems are supplied by Hydronic Lift S.p.A., one of Italy’s leading manufacturers of hydraulic lift technology.
At its manufacturing arm, Lifts Trade Pvt. Ltd., the company produced 1400 elevator cabins and safety car frames during the past year across hydraulic, traction geared and traction gearless elevators.

During his visit, Federico Lama conducted advanced technical training for installation engineers at Cube Elevators’ and participated in an industry interaction with members of the Telangana Elevator Association.
As President of the Telangana Elevator Association, Ch. V. Avinash has also been actively advocating higher safety standards in the elevator industry. Every Cube hydraulic lift complies with IS 17900, India’s latest national lift safety code, now mandatory for all new lift installations.
