The ICC bans Jarvo from the remaining World Cup games after Virat Kohli confronts the pitch invader during India vs. Australia

On Sunday, October 8, during the ICC World Cup match between India and Australia at Chennai’s M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, serial pitch invader Jarvo made his presence known. Jarvo and Virat Kohli were spotted chatting, and a video of the exchange quickly gained popularity on social media.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-224063″ src=”” alt=” hrithik roshan and saba azad step out together in a stylish casual look images 202″ width=”1335″ height=”702″ srcset=” 310w,×79.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1335px) 100vw, 1335px” title=”The ICC bans Jarvo from the remaining World Cup games after Virat Kohli confronts the pitch invader during India vs. Australia 3″>

As a result of the disruptions Jarvo created during the game in Chepauk, when he repeatedly disrupted the proceedings, the ICC subsequently formally banned Jarvo for the rest of the ODI World Cup matches in India.

The World Cup match between India and Australia included an invasion of the pitch by the British prankster who has gone popular on social media. Daniel Jarvis, better known by his given name, managed to get past the security and raced onto the field while wearing the India jersey with the number 69.

Later, when it was evident that the pitch intruder was speaking with Virat, security personnel raced outside and seized him. Before being led away, it seemed that Kohli confronted the British supporter. The fan won’t be permitted to watch any of the remaining World Cup games.

When Jarvo invaded India’s game against England in 2021, the Men in Blue were visiting England, and the recurring pitch invader made a cameo at the Oval Test, Jarvo stole the show.

The British supporter has been seen everywhere, from England to India contests.

India, meanwhile, limited Australia to 200 runs overall. Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja claimed three. Along with Mohammed Siraj and Ravichandran Ashwin, Japrit Bumrah also produced two kills and one wicket apiece.

The Australian team’s top scorer was Steven Smith, who added 41 runs to David Warner’s total of 41. A disappointing performance saw half of the Australian batting order fail to reach single digits.
