Varanasi to Vaishno Devi Special Trains Announced by Indian Railways

<p>People have started purchasing rail tickets to their hometowns or other desirable locations as the festival season begins. Numerous individuals encounter discomfort as a result of their inability to board trains that are appropriate for their commutes. The Indian Railways has organized special trains from Uttar Pradesh in an effort to make travel more pleasant. <p>Beginning the next month, special trains will operate for those wanting to see Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. There will be a total of six journeys made by this train in each direction. In response to increased congestion and for the convenience of train passengers, Northern Railway decided to launch the specific service. Between Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, a special train will operate.</p>
<p>Every Sunday at 11:20 p.m., train number 01654 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi – Varanasi Special departs from Katra and arrives in Varanasi at 11:55 p.m. From October 22 to November 26, 2023, the train will operate. Every Tuesday at 06.20 am, the Varanasi – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Special train leaves Varanasi for its destination, arriving at 11:20 am the following day.</p>
<p>The special train will make stops along the way in both directions at the stations of Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi, and Uthampur. It consists of air-conditioned sleeper and general-class coaches.</p>
<p>A few more special trains have also begun running. Rekha Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway, announced that the New Delhi-Varanasi special train number 04080 would operate from November 6 to November 30, 2023. Every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 7:20 p.m., this train leaves from New Delhi and arrives at Varanasi station at 9:45 a.m. the following day. The 04079 Varanasi – New Delhi special train will leave from Varanasi at 6:35 pm every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday starting on November 7, 2023, and running until December 1, 2023. The train will arrive in Delhi at 9:00 am the next day.</p>
