Akshay Kumar, one of the top action stars in Hindi film throughout the 1990s, remade himself as a comedic actor during the 2000s, beginning with the crowd favorite Hera Pheri. Filmmakers realized that Akshay had whole new skills after Hera Pheri, including his ability to tickle the audience’s funny bone in addition to performing dangerous feats and gripping battle sequences. The next ten years saw a flurry of comedic movies starring Akshay Kumar in the lead.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-195741″ src=”” alt=” shehnaaz gill dances to desi wine in a goofy video while wearing a sheet mask and” width=”1194″ height=”853″ srcset=” 266w,–150×107.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1194px) 100vw, 1194px” title=”Guess This Akshay Kumar Movie From 2010 That Is The Basis For Countless Memes 15″>

Throughout the decade, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan often worked together to produce successful comedic films like Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, De Dana Dhan, and Bhool Bhulaiya. Despite the fact that the most of these movies were box office hits and gained cult status, a 2010 collaboration between them has been the focus of the most memes and internet sensations for more than ten years. The movie, titled Khatta Meetha, is a fun comedy with elements of tension, thriller, and humor.

Khatta Meetha was not a significant box office hit, in sharp contrast to other Priyadarshan movies of the time, but it continues to be very well-liked today. One of the funniest moments in recent memory has the characters of Kumar, Rajpal Yadav, and Johnny Lever attempting to mend a broken bulldozer for a very long period. Social internet is still flooded with memes based on the conversation from this moment.

Khatta Meetha is noteworthy for the debut of Trisha Krishnan, a well-known actress from the South Indian film industry, in Hindi cinema. Trisha has only ever appeared in this one Hindi movie. Khatta Meetha, the movie starring Akshay and Trisha, reportedly cost nothing to produce, claims Box Office India. The film’s production cost was Rs 35 crore, yet it only managed a middling success with a total of Rs 53 crore.

The protagonist of the story is a poor contractor named Sachin Tichkule who has a history of conflict with both the corrupt municipal government and his ex-girlfriend and her family. He loses touch with his immediate family as a result of these incidents.
