Due to these factors, Apple could reduce production of the iPhone 15: Report

According to a recent source, Apple may have to decrease the manufacturing of the iPhone 15 models owing to a lack of parts, such as camera sensors and display panels, before the iPhone 15 series is formally introduced in September.<img decoding=”async” class=”alignnone wp-image-129358″ src=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/theindiaprint.com-at-the-screening-of-ap-dhillons-docuseries-ranveer-singh-and-harrdy-sandhu-displayed-their-friendship-download-2023-08-17t182439.820.jpg” alt=”theindiaprint.com at the screening of ap dhillons docuseries ranveer singh and harrdy sandhu displayed their friendship download 2023 08 17t182439.820″ width=”1279″ height=”716″ srcset=”https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/theindiaprint.com-at-the-screening-of-ap-dhillons-docuseries-ranveer-singh-and-harrdy-sandhu-displayed-their-friendship-download-2023-08-17t182439.820.jpg 300w, https://www.theindiaprint.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/theindiaprint.com-at-the-screening-of-ap-dhillons-docuseries-ranveer-singh-and-harrdy-sandhu-displayed-their-friendship-download-2023-08-17t182439.820-150×84.jpg 150w” sizes=”(max-width: 1279px) 100vw, 1279px” title=”Due to these factors, Apple could reduce production of the iPhone 15: Report 3″>

Apple analyst Jeff Pu said in a letter to investors that the company aims to sell 77 million iPhone 15 devices, which is less than the 83 million that were first anticipated, according to 9to5Mac. Two basic causes might be to blame for this.

First off, supply problems with a number of components, like as the camera sensor produced by Sony, the speculated titanium frame for the ‘Pro’ versions, and the new OLED display with much reduced bezels, might hinder Apple’s aspirations for mass manufacturing.

Second, the price of the iPhone 15 Pro models is anticipated to increase this time around, which may have an impact on consumer demand.

Many experts, including Ming-Chi Kuo, have made similar predictions for this year. The starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro is anticipated to be $1,099, while that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is anticipated to be $1,199. If this information proves to be accurate, the Pro models will be $100 more expensive than they were when the iPhone X was introduced in 2017 for $999.

According to rumors, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will differ from the iPhone 14 Pro in a number of ways, including the use of USB-C and the addition of a new “action button.” Apple’s obsolete Lightning connection, which was initially introduced with the iPhone 5 in 2012, will be replaced by USB-C on the upcoming iPhones.

In addition, Apple’s upcoming A17 Bionic processor, which might have a clock speed of 3.70 GHz and be built on a new 3nm process—as opposed to the 4nm process utilized by the A16 Bionic—is anticipated to be included in the iPhone Pro versions. On the other hand, the A16 Bionic processor, which is also included in the iPhone 14 Pro variants, is anticipated to be present in the ordinary iPhone 15 models.

Bloomberg’s Mark German has speculated that Apple’s iPhone event, where it would introduce the new iPhone 15 models and the following-generation Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, might take place on September 12 later this month.
